Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya or Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya is an upcoming Tamil movie from the director of Kaaka Kaaka, Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu, and Vaaranam Aayiram – yes Gautham Menon himself! This time Gautham Menon has chosen little superstar Silambarasan or Simbu and leading Kollywood actress Trisha Krishnan as lead roles in Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya stars. 

Not much information about the movie was announced by the crew – however the movie is expected to be a beautiful love story as the tag line says it is – “A Different Love Story”. Also the posters of the movie clarify the same.

The theme of the first poster of the movie which was released in February was based on the Vennilave Vennilave… Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya song from hit movie Minsarakanavu, where Prabhu Deva and Kajol dances in the moonlight. Another movie poster published was inspired from Uyire Uyire song from movie Dil Se. 

Golden Globe award winning music director A. R. Rahman composed the songs for Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Anthony. 

The shooing of Simbu’s Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya movie is almost completed and audio songs will be released this month – June 2009. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya movie is expected to hit the silver screens by the end of July 2009.
