Rajasthan International Folk Festival, also known as Jodhpur Folk Festival, is India’s leading international folk music festival held in and around the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India situated at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Rajasthan International Folk Festival was started in 2007 as India’s first annual festival of regional roots music and the arts. In 2009, the festival is held for 5 days from 1st October 2009 to 5th October 2009. Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) brings together musicians, instrumentalists, storytellers from various Rajasthani folk communities, performing artists, singers, dancers, as well as internationally recognized artists from across the world.
